When improper ventilation caused extensive mold damage in this Omaha, NE attic, SERVPRO of Sarpy County crews responded to the call for help.  Our crews discovered the bathroom fans were venter directly to the attic, causing excessive moisture to collect around the roof joists and sheathing panels.

Upon discovery of mold damage, or crews set up containment to prevent cross-contamination during the cleaning and remediation process.  Then we cleaner the entire attic space of visible mold and treated the area with a disinfectant.  The after picture shows an area of the attic that had been cleaned and disinfected, ready for sealer to be applied, along with an area that had been sealed already.
