Water Damage and Flooded Basement in Omaha

The water damage at this Omaha, NE home was caused by a frozen pipe bursting in the basement.  When our crews were notified, the basement had about two feet of water and the furniture was floating.  Our crews used a submersible pump and our truck-mounted extractors to extract the standing water from the home.  We used dehumidifiers in every level of the home to reduce the excessive humidity and prevent secondary damage to the rest of the home.  The before picture was taken when our crew arrived onsite.  The after picture shows the basement area after we extracted the standing water.  Our customer was grateful that we were able to minimize the damage and get their home dried out so quickly.
