Dishwasher Leak Causes Water Damage in Papillion

This water damage was caused by an appliance leaking.

The dishwasher in this Papillion home leaked, causing extensive water damage to the kitchen and finished basement below.  Within two hours of receiving a panicked call from the homeowner, SERVPRO of Sarpy County crews were onsite extracting water and setting up drying equipment.

The fast response and expertise of our technicians enabled us to save the kitchen cabinets and the home theater equipment in the basement below.  Unfortunately, the kitchen flooring had to be removed, as it was installed over existing vinyl flooring and could not be properly dried.  The client was grateful to avoid a full kitchen demolition and happy to be able to stay in their home during the cleanup process.
