Frozen Pipe Causes Water Damage in Omaha

SERVPRO of Sarpy County crews recently responded to this Omaha home for water damage in the basement.  A sprinkler supply line froze and burst in the basement wall flooding most of the basement.  Our technicians responded quickly to extract the standing water from the carpet. We used an air-injection system to force warm, dry air into the wall cavities, enabling us to save the drywall and save the homeowner hundreds of dollars.  The picture shows one of our air movers drying the carpet from underneath, saving the carpet from needing replacement.

The homeowner was grateful for our fast response and expertise in saving their walls and carpet.
