Water Damaged Kitchen in Omaha, NE

This kitchen and hallway water damage was caused by a leaking dishwasher.

A dishwasher in this Omaha, NE home went unnoticed for several weeks, resulting in water damage to the kitchen flooring and subfloor as well as the basement ceilings and walls.  While the SERVPRO of Sarpy County crews were surveying the extent of the damage, they discovered mold growth in the affected area.

The excessive mold growth and moisture made it necessary to remove some of the tile flooring in the kitchen, but fortunately the homeowner had extra tile and was able to keep their existing flooring, replacing only the damaged tiles.  Our crews were able to clean, dry and disinfect the affected areas, allowing the homeowner to stay in their home during the recovery process and saving hundreds in costs for them.
